Candice back with you today and I again had to play with Reverse Confetti’s new September release, this time with the Christmas products! This new tree die is perfect to highlight (and use again!) your cross stitch panels with gorgeous different patterns! There is enough space to do all the fun detail stitches for a stunning Christmas card!

I used these Reverse Confetti products to create my slimline design:

I began my slimline with an 8 1/2 x 3 1/2 card base.

For the background, I first trimmed a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock to fit a little smaller than my card front and die cut the tree near the top making sure to center it. I then die cut the cross stitch panel and created my stitched design lining it up behind the openings in the tree. I then adhered the tree panel with foam tape over the cross stitched piece and used foam tape to add to the front of my card.

Next, I stamped the crib, colored it with copic markers, and used the coordinating dies to cut it out. I then cut the ray die and ‘peace’ from gold foil cardstock and the ‘peace’ shadow from blue shimmer cardstock.

To put the card together, I glued the ray down and added the layered ‘peace’ and crib with foam tape and simply stamped the sentiment beneath!

I hope you are inspired to try a cross stitch pattern or come up with a design to use behind this amazing tree!

Thank you for stopping by with me today!

Candice
